Category 3 blackwater is a health hazard, not a cleaning job. Our Sewage Cleanup crews arrive in full PPE and follow IICRC S500 protocol from the first step, not just the parts that are convenient.

Containment goes up before extraction starts, because the goal isn't just removing the water, it's making sure contamination doesn't spread into rooms that were never affected.
We'd rather explain the sewage cleanup process clearly upfront than have you find out the hard way what a shortcut costs later.
These four things matter together, not in isolation — certification, speed, honest pricing, and the right equipment are what actually change the outcome of a sewage cleanup call.
S500 governs PPE, containment, and disposal on every Category 3 call we take.
The affected area gets isolated before removal starts to prevent cross-contamination.
Contaminated materials are disposed of per local regulation, not just tossed in a standard bin.
We treat contamination emergencies with urgency, since delay raises exposure risk.
We don't treat sewage cleanup as a single generic task — each piece of the process below gets its own specific approach.
Classification determines PPE level and which materials must be removed, not left to guesswork.
Dedicated extraction equipment prevents cross-contamination from clean-water jobs.
This is a safety call based on contamination science, not a cost-cutting shortcut.
Disinfection follows removal of unsalvageable materials, covering the entire affected zone.
Odor gets addressed through disinfection and controlled airflow, not masked with fragrance.
The space gets verified against a safe standard before we call the job complete.
Four steps, no guesswork, from your first call to a verified sewage cleanup result.
A real person answers, asks a few fast questions, and routes the nearest available crew.
Local staging is what makes rapid arrival possible, rather than a promise with nothing behind it.
You approve the number before equipment turns on — no surprise invoice after the fact.
A job isn't closed on a visual check — it's closed on a verified reading.
These reviews come from real sewage cleanup calls, not a curated highlight reel.
"Basement bathroom backup got full PPE handling and a clear explanation of why certain materials had to go."
Genevieve K., Peshtigo"Main line backup hit our laundry room and they explained exactly why the flooring couldn't be saved."
Silas D., Peshtigo"The smell was genuinely gone after treatment, not just masked temporarily."
Ines M., Peshtigo"Full containment meant we could reopen the rest of the dining room the same evening."
Bartholomew F., PeshtigoThese are the questions we hear most often about sewage cleanup, gathered from real calls, not a generic template list.
Aqua Guard Water Damage dispatches sewage cleanup specialists throughout Peshtigo and the surrounding zip codes, including 54157.
Coverage extends past the immediate area, so an outlying Peshtigo address isn't treated as a lower priority for sewage cleanup.
If you're unsure whether your address falls in our sewage cleanup service area, just call — we'll confirm quickly rather than making you guess.
